Growing up I remember whining to my Dad about how our lawn didn’t look as nice as our neighbors or my friends’ house. My Dad was too considerate to say, “Because you kids are always playing hotbox on it.”
Having a great looking lawn is not the most important thing in life, but over the years, I have learned how hardy grass can be and how it has amazing capacity to come back from things like drought and heavy wear and tear.
This Sunday we’ll conclude our series on “From Frailty to Fortitude” by talking about a passage where Jesus promises that if we remain in him, we will bear much fruit. I’ll be building on a statement I made last week that “The roots go deep when the wind blows hard.”
Join us in worship this Sunday as we explore “Where Roots Run Deep, Life Grows Strong.” Our Services times are 8:30 & 10:00, with Live Streaming available at 10am.
Invite a friend to be your guest. They will be blessed.
