I have been thinking a lot about gratitude and the immense impact it has on our life. Giving thanks affects our thinking, our attitude and our spirit. Our culture seems to be bent on constantly reminding us of what we do not have. Everywhere we turn, marketers tell us that if we only have this item or this thing, then everything would be good.

With the outdoor service last Sunday, I’m especially thankful for the dozens of people who played a big part in making the grand day possible. The smiles I saws on kids’ faces was just one testament to the day and a true joy to behold. It was a bit warm, but I’m thankful we did not have the oppressive heat and humidity that came a day later. I’m thankful for God’s grace to me a sinner and I’m thankful for the Word which speaks a life-giving message to all who will listen. I’m thankful for freedom in Christ and the responsibility that goes with it.

Giving thanks can seem simplistic or even naive, but on Sunday we’ll unpack the incredible power of gratitude than can unleash a whole avalanche of good things in our life.

Worship will begin at 9:30 AM. Live Streaming also available at 9:30 AM.
