This Sunday, we will return to the sermon series on the twelve disciples that Pastor Steve started earlier this summer. We will focus on the disciple Thomas. His struggle to believe that Jesus had truly risen from the dead has given him the lasting moniker of “Doubting Thomas”. Yet, Thomas shows earlier in the scriptures a boldness to follow Jesus wherever it may lead and a boldness to ask big questions.
Most teachers I know appreciate the students who ask good questions, as it shows what those students and perhaps others in the class are truly understanding. A few years back, an article in Harvard Business Review indicated that great leaders were those that asked big questions. Through taking a closer look at the few scriptures that mention Thomas and learning about his desire to follow Jesus we will unpack the importance of asking good questions as we seek to understand more of what it means to be a follower of Jesus.
Join us for worship this Sunday at 9:30 AM. FaithPoint’s campus is located at 1051 270th St. W. New Prague. Live Streaming is available at 9:30 AM. We look forward to welcoming you!
