They want to know what your experience of Jesus is. They want to know if Jesus makes any difference in your life. Has he changed your life in some dramatic, remarkable way? They want to know if your worship is a life-
changing encounter with a living God.
This Sunday we read about a broken woman who breaks a jar of expensive perfume and pours it on Jesus’ feet. By breaking the vase, she shows herself to be broken, but more importantly, she demonstrates the deep life-changing encounter she has had with the one who changed her life forever. Many of the others don’t understand her brokenness or radical act of kindness, but she knows a secret that we’ll talk about Sunday.
