“The only things you can be certain of in this life are death and taxes,” as the old saying goes.
In the Gospel reading for this Sunday from Mark 12:13-27, Jesus talks about ‘death and taxes.’ In my sermon, I will look at what the Bible has to say about these two certainties. After all, when Jesus was on earth, he even had to pay taxes, and of course, face death.
