Many years ago there was a great loss in the entertainment world. Larry LaPrise, the Detroit native who wrote the song “The Hokey Pokey”, died at age 83. Though he died peacefully, it was a difficult time for the family—especially when it was time to put him in the casket. First, “They put his right leg in and … well, that’s when the trouble started.

2000 years ago there was a similar problem in Jerusalem. If Good Friday is good because of what Jesus did, on Easter Sunday we learn that “you can’t keep a good man down.” The surprise of Easter is that God was indeed in Christ, doing for us, what we could not do for ourselves. This Easter Sunday we’ll be talking about “The Grand Surprise of Easter.” We’ll also have a special Easter Egg Hunt for the Kids after all three of our services: 7:15 Sunrise, 8:30 and 10:00 AM. Community Easter Breakfast served from 8-10 AM. FaithPoint’s Campus is located at 1051 270th St. W. New Prague. Live Streaming available at 10am on Facebook or on our website.
