This Palm Sunday or Sunday of the Passion, we enter Holy Week, the time when we recall Jesus’ journey to Jerusalem and his eventual death on the cross. What starts out on an emotional high and time of celebration and singing Hosanna, quickly turns dour and gloomy, a time when all of Jesus’ friends and followers will desert him.
Before Jesus will arrive in Jerusalem, there are a number of prophecies that he will fulfill during his arrival. We’ll talk about one very important one that concerns Jesus riding in on a colt, the foal of a donkey. I was able to track down the owner of the colt and what that was all like. We’ll hear from him on Sunday.
