Over the last few months, I have been drawn to learn about the holiness of God through a devotional I’m reading about the attributes of God, a Bible study I lead in the book of Revelation, and a book recommendation from our daughter Kesenya. In three different ways, I have been led to ponder God’s holiness. The theme has my attention.
When we want to emphasize the importance of something in English when we write, we have several things we can choose to do. Exclamation points, bold print, underlining, quotation marks all bring our attention to something important. The Old Testament Jews used repetition. Only one characteristic of God in Scripture is mentioned three times in succession – God’s holiness.
I hope you can join us this Sunday as we look deeper at this attribute and allow our hearts to be filled with thanksgiving for God’s holiness. We will also celebrate Holy Communion together this Sunday. FaithPoint is located at 1051 270th St. W. New Prague. Live Streaming available at 10:00 AM on Facebook or on our website.
In awe of our Holy God,
