This Sunday we begin offering two worship times, 8:30 and 10:00 AM, with Sunday School at 10:00 AM. During worship we’ll gather to hear some good news for the neighbor from Jesus’ famous story of the Good Samaritan. Of course, Jesus doesn’t call him “good”, but the story is so packed with meaning that the phrase “Good Samaritan” is known around the world.

One part of the story that we don’t talk much about is when the Samaritan took him to a place to be healed and be restored—namely to the INN.

That’s similar to when broken people are brought to church. The people and power of God are there to help restore and heal.

What’s interesting is that the Innkeeper and Samaritan don’t start by trying to change the world; they just start with caring for someone who’s been beaten up. They didn’t start a Crimestoppers chapter in Jericho. They just start with some guy in need. It was risky and costly, but it was doable, and they did it.

After a great time of worship this Sunday, we’ll enjoy a Ministry Fair in our Fellowship Hall. There will be opportunities for ministry and fellowship for all ages. Invite a friend to join you in this new season for worship. FaithPoint’s Campus is located at 1051 270th St. W. New Prague. Live Streaming available at 10:00 AM on Facebook or on our website.
