Grand Opening planned for the new FaithPoint Campus
New Prague, MN, August 11, 2021 ─ FaithPoint Lutheran Church invites everyone to the grand opening celebration of its beautiful new building located at 1051 270th Street West (one mile north of car dealerships on Redwing Avenue) in New Prague. The festivities will happen on Sunday, August 22, 2021. This fun-filled, family event starts with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 9:10 a.m., followed by a celebration worship service at 9:30 a.m. After the service, a ministry fair will be held with food, games, inflatables for kids, prizes and fun for all.
With its ever-growing congregation, the new campus gives FaithPoint much-needed space to welcome and serve the community, including ample room for their very popular youth programs. A great deal of thought has gone into making this a warm, inviting environment.
“We believe God has laid before us a great vision to reach people throughout the New Prague area,” said Pastor Steve Trewartha, Senior Pastor of FaithPoint. “We have not built this church for ourselves—we have built it for those who will walk through the door for the first time. This church is a step out in faith so that we can reach more people for Christ.”
The new building includes a large sanctuary with seating for 400. A grand fellowship hall, complete with a beautiful stone fireplace, provides overflow seating and is an ideal gathering spot for post-service fellowship.
For children and youth, an education wing features multipurpose classrooms and gathering places. The building is equipped with the latest in security and technology. Monitors in the classrooms and nursery livestream the services for parents who wish to stay with their children.
The 14-acre campus includes a rain garden with over 1300 plants and plans for ball fields and a walking path through native prairie grass fields.
“We have been planning and praying for how God would use us for the good of the community,” said Pr. Trewartha. “The people of this congregation have acted on their vision to reach more people and honor God. We invite everyone to come and see this beautiful new building and find out how it will be used to further His kingdom.”
FaithPoint’s Ministries
The Ministry Fair will include stations throughout the building where people can go and learn about the programs offered by FaithPoint. Registration for fall programs will be available. Each station will have a game or activity with prizes and giveaways, along with refreshments. During the grand opening event, you will have the opportunity to learn more about these ministries:

Since July, worship services have been held at the new location on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. Beginning September 12, FaithPoint will hold two services on Sunday mornings at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m.
