Easter Sunday! Easter Sunday is typically the largest, most glorious, most beautiful worship service of the whole year. This is the Sunday when churches pull out all the stops, bet the farm and go all in for the pinnacle of our faith, ours included.
But Easter 2020 will showcase … an EMPTY CHURCH. Thankfully, technology and multiple streaming services will still allow us to celebrate this glorious holy day. But with all the changes brought on by this virus, it got me to thinking about something else that was Empty on Easter … the Tomb. There’s a deeper lesson here than we realize, and we’ll talk all about it this Sunday.
