When you were 10 years old did ever look back to when you were 5 and think “man I
was a dummy back then?” You probably as a 15-year-old thought back to your 10-year-old
self also thinking “I made some goof decisions back in the day.” When you follow
this train of logic you quickly realize that you may not be the sharpest crayon in the
box right now either and that in a few years you’re going to look back and again think
“why did I do that dumb thing?”
One of the defining characteristics of a Christ follower is someone who understands
that they don’t have it all together and need help. That’s why they are going to
Church. They realize that they are far from perfect, desperately need a Savior, and
are willing to publicly implement themselves in a community to worship and seek that
very Savior they so desperately need.
This Sunday, we’ll once again worship our glorious God together and discuss how we
can seek to know Him with every fiber of our being.
