Wednesday, September 26th from 6 – 8 pm at the Ministry Center
Everyone is invited to join us for a special evening for families. There will be all sorts of different ways for you to interact with and meet others throughout the evening in small groups. Anyone can come – invite your neighbors and friends!
Here’s an overview of the evening’s various stations:
Got Food? We’ll have some fun snack and sweet food to share around the tables as you meet and socialize with others
Got Laughter? Come and enjoy a variety of games for all ages.
Got Prayer? A variety of hands-on and special ideas will lead you to pray as families or in small groups with others
Got Love? We’ll have two projects for you to consider participating in:
- We are going to bless those new college freshman who have called FaithPoint their home. We’ll make some homemade cards and invite you to bring something you think a college student would like in a care package. (SHH … it would be fun to surprise them, wouldn’t it?)
- We are going to put together move-out baskets for two local ministries. Two baskets will go to Scott County’s Battered Women Shelter and the other two will be for Safe Haven – a home for young adults 18-24 who are emotionally or mentally challenged who are being mentored as they begin life independently. We will provide the laundry baskets – you bring laundry, bath and cleaning supplies.
